This is one of those crochet patterns that every crocheter should have on their bucket list!
The pattern is designed by Anna Nilsson and can be found for free on Ravelry. The pattern is really well written and easy to follow.
For the mandala I used a 3.5mm Clover hook and Scheepjes Whirl yarn in the shade 'blueberry bambam'.
The star pattern emerges from the centre and slowly grows with beautiful intricate and effective stitches.
The size of the finished mandala is 70cm which I crocheted onto a large metal lampshade hoop and hung up on to the wall.
