Spiderweb Coasters Free Crochet Pattern



These spiderweb coasters are a really quick make for Halloween and they can be made in any colour to match your spooky decor! Enjoy :)






Materials


3.5 mm hook

100g Drops Safran


Size


12cm diameter



Stitches used

Slip stitch - sl st

Chain - ch

Double crochet - dc

Half treble - htr


Picot - chain 3, join with a slip stitch to the first chain.



To start


1. Chain 3, make 10 htr in the 3rd chain from hook.  Join to the first htr with a slip stitch.


2. Ch 4  (counts as htr and chain 2) 

* htr in the next stitch, ch 2, * Repeat from * to * 9 times.  Join to the 2nd chain of turning chain.


10 htr, 10 ch-2 spaces 


3. Ch 1, dc in the same stitch as join. * 3 dc in the ch-2 space, dc in the next htr* Repeat from * to * 9 times. Ending with 3 dc in the last ch-2 space. Join to the first dc.


40 dc



4. Ch 6 ( counts as htr and ch 4) *skip 3 stitches, htr in the next stitch, ch 4* Repeat from * to * 9 times. Join to the 2nd chain of turning chain.


10 htr, 10 ch-4 spaces 


5. Ch1 and dc in the same place as join. *5 dc in the ch-4 space, dc in the next htr * Repeat from * to * 9 times, ending with 5 dc in the last chain space. Join to the first dc.


60 dc


6. Ch 8 ( counts as a htr and chain 6 space) * skip 5 sts, htr in the next space, ch 6 * Repeat from * to * 9 times join to the 2nd chain of turning chain.


10 htr, 10 ch-6 spaces


7. Ch 1, dc in the same stitch as join. *7 dc in the ch-6 space, dc in the htr * Repeat from * to * 9 times ending with 7 dc in last the ch-6 space. Join to the first dc.


80 dc


8. Ch 1, dc in same stitch. * 1 htr in the next 3 stitches. (1 htr, picot, 1 htr in next stitch) 1 htr in next 3 stitches. Dc in the next stitch * Repeat from * to * 10 times omitting the dc in the last Repeat. Join to first dc. Fasten off.


10 dc, 10 picots, 80 htr
