This year I have decided to dedicate 100 days to making crochet mandalas. I find making mandalas very therapeutic and relaxing, which is much needed for me in this current crazy world we are living in.
The first mandala is called 'The Floating Lotus Mandala' it starts with a flower in various shades of pink which floats on blue tones of cotton yarn with a mixture of wavy stitches and textures.
This is the first mandala complete, I have used Scheepjes Maxi Sugar Rush and a 2.75mm hook. The mandala measures 51cm in diameter and I am really happy with it. When the 100 day project is complete I will be releasing a series of mandala patterns so watch this space!
